Christmas is...
1) A public holiday
2) A day the Boyfriend is free
3) A punchline at the end of the Joke. Could this year get any worse? Oh look, It's Christmas!
4) A debased Christian festive day, an over-commercialized time of quiet desperation, but a time of supposed good-will to our fellow man. Because being kind once a year is better than never at all
5) An increased income tax. Who pays for electricity bills for the streets' Christmas lights?
6) An unholy plot to infest the hearts and minds of everyone with advertisements, commercialism, worthless products, and money-mongering. Devized by pagans. Modified by Catholics. Exploited by the international banker consortium. (No offence)
7) An only holiday where you sit in front of a dead tree and eat candies out of your socks.
8) Character 1: "I can't wait til Christmas Time, when I can spend my hard-earned cash on presents that will probably be given away, only to get crappy woven sweaters in return!"
Character 2: "Don't be bitter, just give them your car keys and report it stolen the next day."
Happy holidays!
Merry Christmas
